That First Day

A monumental mistake in their lives they said
They’d rather I was stillborn so leaving me for dead
They wrapped my little body in a blanket that was torn
And dropped me in a dumpster
Cursing the day that I was born

Ill-conceived unwanted

Social service child care from home to Foster home
In and out of prison since I’ve been on my own
I’ve had the time to reflect remembering the day
They dropped me in a dumpster
Then strolled along along there merry way

Their voices echo in my head confusion reigns supreme
Both bidding on my Soul I bet come join the winning team
But each and every day goes by my blood runs deadly cold
Where vengeance retribution they consume my Mortal Soul
